Welcome to our 6th annual kids triathlon!
Same routes, same age groups, same team division category but better dancing for 2012!
Team Division update
Since 2008 the sport of swimming has proven to be the sport which seems to produce the fittest kids. Triathletes, hockey players, soccer players, figure skaters and dancers have all fallen prey to swimmers. But for 2012, I think the time has come to prove to swimmers that although we respect their aerobic capabilities and their long competitive season their weak swimming ankles are about to buckle if not snap for 2012! See tab on the left for more information about this unique category.
We will promote any other sport association, club, team on our web site as soon as we see 6 registered from your sport club.
Triathletes do not need to be part of an organized sport club to make up a team.
All those registering in a team must register using the identical same team name.
Special Note below. January 18, 2012
Clarington Swim Club have contacted us and have this to report regarding their predications for 2012. Hummm?
"While the record since 2008 speaks for itself regarding "Swimmers" are the fittest kids, the Clarington Swim Club (ROC) will gladly take on any challenge to this title. The ROC (Racers of Clarington) predict a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finish in the team divisions for 2012." - ROC
For first timers
Our triathlon like all others across the province is a entire morning event. Plan to be at the race site by no later than 7:45 am and don't plan on leaving until 12:30 ish. Your childs bike will be secured in the transitation area. If your child is completed by 9:20am you will not be able to get their bike until the very last triathlete has crossed the line around 12:30. Please do not enter in your child if your schedule on race day is tight. See schedule tab to the left.
